On
the Kona coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, we are graced with the
presence of over 800 Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, smaller pods of
Spotted Dolphins, and Bottlenose, in addition to all-year round
Pilot Whales, seasonal Humpback Whales, Manta Rays, Turtles and
others.
The
Hawaiian Spinners Dolphins are the most regular visitors to the
shores along the Kona coast. Almost daily, they come into shore to
rest, play and interact with their human friends. Nearly everyone,
of all ages and snork-ability, can swim with the dolphins.
A
phenomenal experience, as the OneLoveOneSpirit Team takes you on a
customized half-day morning tour in the waters where the dolphins
rest and play. They will share their experiences of swimming with
the dolphins, and discuss techniques of surface diving and snorkeling
to experience close and respectful contact with our finned friends.
The
time in the water with the dolphins varies from a few minutes to 3+
hours. Remember it can take a one second of looking into the eye of
a dolphin to have your life forever changed!
Certainly
if time and financial resources are not issues for you, and dolphins
/ marine mammals are your priority, we highly recommend doing more
than one trip. Although our boat trips are averaging 95% success
with the dolphins, this will increase your chances of having a
phenomenal time!

What
People Are Saying About Their Dolphin Swim
| "Our
time with OneLoveOneSpirit will always remain our favorite
memory of a great vacation to the Big Island! Capt. Ray and
Katrina were very welcoming and their knowledge of the coast
and wildlife was obvious. The boat, Shogun, was clearly well
kept and very comfortable and the gear provided was in
excellent condition. The passengers scaled from first time
snorkelers to an Olympic class swimmer, and Capt. Ray and
Katrina made sure each of us were able to interact with the
dolphins and all had a great experience. My wife and I
were fortunate to try several adventures the Big Island has
to offer and the dolphin swim with OneLoveOneSpirit was by
far the best!" Brett M Eldorado
Hills, CA
The
weather was absolutely gorgeous, the water was calm, and the
crew was professional and very kind. The dolphins made us
feel alive, spiritual, magical and touched our hearts in a
way I’m not sure I can fully comprehend. The sounds of the
dolphins and whales communicating with each other was
utterly magical. It was amazing to see the pod of over
300 dolphins interact with each other in their natural
habitat (some approaching you, some diving away into a
prisms of light and other showing off and jumping and
spinning in the air)! What an amazing experience…one you
cannot dream of understanding unless you do it yourself
firsthand.” (Toni Silvas and
family, VA)
“What
a beautiful day we had.
. . swimming with the dolphins. . .
It was a life changing experience that would not have been
possible if it had not been for your gentle nudging.
Thank you from our hearts.”(Barbara & Paul, WA)
“We
want to thank you so much for our swim with the dolphins.
Without question, it was the highlight of our trip.”
(Nina & Scott, OR)
